Lección 2: Los adjetivos posesivos
There are two ways to express possession in Spanish.
The ‘s does not exist in Spanish, when you want to identify a specific person that something belongs to, you must use the word de (of).

Possession can also be expressed with possessive adjectives. The adjective must agree in gender (masculine/feminine) and in number (singular/plural) with the item that is owned, not the person who owns it.
