In Módulo 3, you learned the Spanish question words.

To create a question, these words are usually placed at the beginning and are followed by the verb.
Interrogative + verb + subject
¿Dónde viven tus padres?
¿Cuándo nació tu hijo?
Interrogativos y concordancia
Quién and cuál must agree in number.

| ¿Cuáles son tus clases favoritas? | Which are your favorite classes? |
Cuánto and Cuántos must agree in gender. You will notice that the interrogative is followed by the noun it modifies.

Interrogativos con preposiciones
Unlike in English, prepositions (a, con, de, en, por, para) cannot go at the end of a question. In Spanish they are placed right before the interrogative.
