Some of the verbs used to talk about our activities in class, have changes in the yo form.
- hacer (to do, to make): hago, haces, hace, hacemos, hacéis hacen
- poner (to put, to set): pongo, pones, pone, ponemos, ponéis, ponen
- salir (to go out, to leave): salgo, sales, sale, salimos, salís, salen
- traer (to bring): traigo, traes, trae, traemos, traéis, traen
In Spanish it is necessary to use the preposition de with the verb salir when stating that someone is leaving a place.

The verb venir (to come) has a change in the yo form as well as in some of its other forms. You will notice that it is somewhat similar to the verb tener.
