Antes y Despu\u00e9s<\/h2>\r\n

To say that someone does an activity before or after another activity, you will use the expressions antes de<\/strong> (before)<\/em> and despu\u00e9s de<\/strong> (after)<\/em>. These expressions are then followed by an infinitive.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/colgroup>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Antes<\/strong> and despu\u00e9s<\/strong> can also be used without the preposition de<\/strong> to mean beforehand<\/em> or afterward<\/em>. They are then followed by a conjugated verb.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/colgroup>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
