As you have seen, Spanish verbs end in -ar<\/strong>, -er<\/strong>, and -ir<\/strong>, for example hablar, beber,<\/strong> and escribir<\/strong>. This is the simplest form of a verb and is called an infinitive<\/em>. Just as you have learned to conjugate the verbs ser<\/strong> and tener<\/strong>, these verbs can also be conjugated. Notice that all the verbs above end in -o<\/strong>.
